Tungsten Shielding for Nuclear Medicine

Tungsten shielding for gamma and X-ray radiation in medical and research environments. With density ≥ 17.5 g/cm³, tungsten offers superior attenuation to lead per unit volume and is completely non-toxic. We supply shielded syringes, source containers, shielding bricks and special parts to drawing.

• Density >= 17.5 g/cm3 - equivalent to 1.3-1.7 mm W per 1 mm Pb
• Lead-free: safe for direct handling
• Standard products: shielded syringes for PET/FDG, containers for 177Lu
• Custom parts: shielding bricks, inserts for hot cells
